The Location
This unique Wine Cellar Scavenger Hunt takes place in East Attica, a region known for its fertile plains and exceptional gastronomic traditions. Just minutes from Athens Airport, East Attica offers not only exquisite wines but also local delights like fresh goat and sheep milk cheeses, creamy rice pudding, and crispy cheese pies.
The Experience at a Glance
Your adventure begins with private hotel pickup and a scenic ride through the picturesque vineyards and fig orchards of Mesogaia. Along the way, we’ll stop at a family-run dairy shop for brunch, where you’ll sample their famous rice pudding, crispy cheese pie, and “Must Cookies,” a specialty of the area.
Next, we’ll visit a charming local winery set in a beautiful stone-built annex. In the wine-tasting hall, you’ll sample five different wine varieties paired with local delicacies while learning about the winery’s colorful history. During the tasting, join the scavenger hunt to find hidden clues, solve riddles, and crack the code. The fastest team wins a prize!
