Learn how to make the fior di latte mozzarella cheese in a local ‘caseificio’ in Campania region!

Come with us to discover Fior di latte ‘La Mozzarella’ in one of the oldest dairies on the Sorrento Peninsula, beneath the slopes of Monte Faito. Immersed in the greenery of the Vicane hills, Master Dairyman Antonio will take you to the family dairy, established at the beginning of the 20th century, and make you the protagonist of Mozzarella with hands-on experience and explanations of production techniques. After participating in the workshop, enjoy some delicious home-made cheese!

Mozzarella is a type of Italian cheese known for its delicate flavour and smooth, elastic texture. It is traditionally made from cow or buffalo milk in the Campania region of Italy. The cheese is widely used in Italian cuisine and is a key ingredient in many dishes, such as pizza, lasagna and caprese salad. The mozzarella production process involves several steps such as milk coagulation, processing and moulding, cooling and immersion in brine.
