The Wine Cellar Scavenger Hunt

A wine-tasting experience has never been more fun! Get your family and friends together and join us while we taste and explore wines with a variety of flavors, bouquets, and palates, and take part in the exciting scavenger hunt experience to find clues hidden in different areas of the winery. Pay attention! Our winemakers will share information so that you will be able to solve the riddles and break the code.

The Location:

This unique Wine Cellar Scavenger Hunt is held in East Attica, just a few minutes away from Athens Airport. East Attica is a region with very fertile plains and offers a wide range of gastronomic experiences. Besides wine production, the area has a rich farming tradition producing excellent quality dairy products, such as white and yellow cheeses made with fresh goat and sheep milk, velvet yogurt, and flavorful rice pudding.

The experience at a glance:

This unique experience will start by picking you up from your hotel, we will ride towards the airport and, before crossing into the vineyards and the fig orchards of Mesogaia, we will stop at a well-known family-run dairy shop for brunch. Here you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the family who has run the dairy for generations, plus you will be able to sample a fresh rice pudding and a crispy piece of cheese pie. You will also taste the famous “Must Cookies,” a typical product of the area.

After brunch, our next stop is a local winery, cozily situated in a stone-built annex. The wine-tasting hall will captivate you with a variety of flavors, bouquets, and palates. You will have the chance to visit the winery premises and learn its colorful history while tasting five different wine varieties accompanied by local delicacies.

While you taste and listen to the winemakers, you will take part in the fun scavenger hunt experience! Find the clues that are hidden in different areas of the winery, pick out the code snippets from the winemakers, and crack the riddle! The team that solves the riddles in less time wins the Scavenger Hunt Award.
